Rouse Hill Anglican College is committed to a Christian approach to all areas of sport. Together with a balanced educational program sport plays a vital role providing students with a wide range of experiences and opportunities. Our staff hope that sport at the College will offer constructive and positive pathways where the willingness to participate is just as important as the final results. Sportsmanship is top priority and something modelled, taught and expected in every stage of sport. The objective is to promote spirit, team work, a sporting attitude and to foster enthusiasm and interest in sport, at the same time striving for excellence and seeking that every student maximises their physical potential across a range of different sports.
The College belongs to the following associations:

HZSA provides an extensive program of primary sport including gala days and weekly winter competitions for students in Years Three including Football, Girls Modified AFL, Boys League Tag, Girls Netball, Boys Touch Football, Boys Modified AFL and Girls League Tag.
Association of Combined Independent Co-Educational Schools is a Statewide Association, encompassing eight district sub-associations, providing opportunities for entry into NSWCIS level competition.
CIS allows students to be selected into State and National teams. Students who achieve high placings at a CSSA State Carnival go on to compete at CIS level. Our students are also able to trial for CIS teams in sports that do not have state carnivals due to the nature of the sport. Any student who is particularly gifted in sport has every opportunity to achieve at the highest level. CSSA and CIS Teams are generally selected from students who are in at least Year Five and are playing at an elite representative level outside of school.
Interschool Sport
The interschool weekly sporting calendar is divided up into Semester 1 and Semester 2.
Senior School interschool weekly competitions are held throughout the week after school at various locations in the Hills District, whereas Junior School competitions are held during school hours. Senior School games generally start at 4:00pm and conclude by 5:30pm.
A strong commitment is expected from all team members and as such, students are required to attend training each week, either at lunchtime or after school, depending on team arrangements. Students will be transported to sporting venues by bus. Parents are responsible for collecting their students at the end of the game from the sporting venue.
Each College carnival is the beginning of a pathway to sports highest levels in NSW.
